I think there is the ability to store disc title or subtitle in ID3 standards. Given that Albums are now grouped together, it would be useful to be able to add a title for each disc and also make this searchable. Particularly to describe bonus discus or compilation albums correctly. You could then display as marked in the uploaded image.
It would also be useful to show somewhere on the album that it is 'multi-disc' i.e. an icon or indicator so you can see this in the album view

A possibility to give a name to a cd that is part of a cd box. For example the super deluxe editions mostly are a combination of several discs, all with a separate title/name

Quite often now a remastered Box Set will have multiple discs with different titles - it would be good to be able to have a disc sub title to identify the disc for each disc in the set
eg Japan Quiet Life
Disc 1 Original Album Remastered
Disc 2 CD2: A Quieter Life
Disc 3 CD3: Live At Budokan 27th March 1980
So they would appear under album 'Quiet Life' as three discs instead of appearing as different albums

Still keen on this... only way to do this at the moment is to create two separate 'albums' with different titles :-(

Super Deluxe, box sets and remaster collections always come in multi-CD format with each CD having its own individual title within the "collection". It would help with cataloguing if there were a subset within an Album title to label each disc.

Indeed. Having a ‘collection’ where you have individual albums + separate live-show recordings, it is difficult to select the studio version. ‘CD2’ is not a meaningful title. I need to individually select a named cd.
