It would be very beneficial to have the possibility to set as audio output device the Innuos server/streamer.
Currently, this feature is very partially covered by the 3rd party plugin Shairtunes2, but it is very (and I mean VERY) flaky at best. An Innuos version or functionality would allow to hear Apple audio with all the sonic benefits of the Innuos platform.

Please allow us ability to NOT use Airplay 2 if enabled. Currently v1 offers better support for lossless. I currenlty use ShairTunes as well with zero issues. works great. I can select Innuos in Apple Music and stream the stuff i have access to over there vs my stored lossless files. I'd prefer the option of not messing with this implementation if possible.

I installed Airplay support on my Zen Mini mk3 using instructions here:

It all works very well, with no dropouts. Disclaimer: I do have a good Wi-Fi network and my Zen is wired by ethernet. It sometimes doesn't connect first time, but not frequent enough to be a nuisance.
I'm happy with this current AirPlay V1 implementation and may even be a quality loss from moving to AirPlay V2, because V2 can drop back to lossy mode whereas V1 is always lossless but with larger buffers and high latency.
