All albums have different versions with different track listings, mastering, and audio encoding. Would be nice to have a function that shows you all those versions – both in your library and from TIDAL and Qobuz – and lets you highlight your favorite.

Yes! This is one of the things I miss most after swapping from Roon to Sense. I have a lot of duplicated albums, mostly where I have both a local and Qobuz copy (which I keep for mobile listening). It would be great to be able to choose my preferred album version.

Hi Tim, I believe Tidal and Qobuz do show you various different options of certain albums, but does have to list them individually to distinguish them. In terms of your locally stored albums, it would make sense to do the same by changing the album title accordingly, like 'Deluxe' or '2023 Remaster' and so on. Are you looking for a function that just shows all available versions of a single album, besides what can be done currently by using the main Search function?

I was actually referring to the function that is currently in Roon.
While in Roon, if you select an album from a particular artist, there would be a tab marked “Versions.” One could click the tab and it would display all versions of the album from Tidal, Qubuz and locally stored files that would be available to select.

Okay, so there would be single entry of an album in the library, then when you select the album you would be presented with the various albums options to choose from, rather than 2 or 3 or 4 all occupying the carousel of albums under an artist?
