This will allow to have a TIDAL integration similar to the integration with Qobuz, which includes the possibility to sync favorites with the Music Library as well as direct authentication with TIDAL.
Just updated. Checking out now. No issues to note. Very excited. Thank you.
This integration is taken to long. I have waited almost 2 years now on Tidal integration and this slowing process is getting worse and less exiting. I love my Innuos streamer ,but I’m still paying full price for tidal and only having 16 Bit. 44 khz. I’m not going to wait much longer.
A new TIDAL implementation is now available in version 2.1.0 (now in public beta). If you'd like to subscribe to the beta release, please contact support at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This is first come first serve option that requires a remote session, with limited numbers per day.
Please provide your Innuos Model, Serial Number and Country of origin for easier scheduling.
That's disappointing as Nuno hinted MQA support would be coming with the initial Tidal integration. So no timescale for MQA support?
As we're actively developing MQA support, it's expected to be released in a short-term time period.
Daniel Klees' German to English translation: "Hello I have communicated with Tidal, Tidal referred me to Innuos. The problem lies with the manufacturer Innous. Since the Innuos company advertises with the Tidal logo when making a purchase, a direct connection to tidal should also be possible."
Any update on when the Tidal integration will be rolled out?
When can we expect to have mastersound on Tidal instead of the 44khz quality on hi-res songs??
Would you have the best sound of your Innuos you play with Qobuz !!! Much beter sound than Tidal !!!
A quick update to everyone. Our integration is being certified now. We're waiting for final feedback to check if there are any necessary changes to complete certification. Once certification is complete and we have the final API keys, we'll be able to release. We can't provide any date as it doesn't just depend on us but we should have within the next weeks.
Now? At the moment SOME Tidal MQA albums play correctly and some do not. I have not worked out whether there is a predictable pattern as to what plays as MQA and what doesn't. But as it stands, Tidal MQA is not officially supported (yet).
You can connect to Tidal with Sense app now?
I think the Sense App is not support Tidal Now.
you CAN use Tidal in Sense right now but it does not integrate with the Innuos library at present. But yes you can stream Tidal now, although not all MQA Masters play as MQA
oh….thank you for your information!
I tried many times it did not connect to Tidal before. I tried to relogin again, it works right now :D
BTW, how do I know what plays as MQA?
Great news. looking forward to it
I think i wet my pants with this announcement, can't wait as finding Qobuz a pain with titles disappearing from their catalogue.
Hi everyone, the technical development is on the final stage and it will then undergo the certification process. It's expected for innuOS 2.1. We won't commit to any dates as the certification process may vary in terms of time but it shouldn't be long now.
Same question here. Don’t necessarily need a date but it would be good to see the blog updated so we at least know pretty much where each feature request is up to.
It's been very busy here so haven't been able to pick this up lately. However, I can explain in more detail ina blog what the status of each feature request means as this should provide you a better view of what's being done.
Any update Nuno on when this is likely to happen?
Hello, when do you introduce the Tidalconnect configuration ?
The Tidal configuration in the Sence app is very limited in options.
I had been using both Tidal and Quboz with Roon for a few years now. Really enjoy the Sense app. Really feel Innuos is doing a great job with their app. Much prefer the Sense app over Roon for sound quality. I would really like the ability to connect to Tidal from within the music section , under the Streaming services of the app.
Does this mean we would get full synchronization of playlists created both in Tidal and in Sense? I would really like to have that.
I hope that the UI can be customized so that I don't have to wade through "Staff Picks", "Newest Releases", etc. etc. to get to my TIDAL library.
Can’t say I’m impressed by or bothered about MQA. However, having Tidal integrated as Qobuz would be excellent.
Is there an update on Tidal Masters and MQA support? Your most recent Inn-sights blog speaks of "full Tidal integration" but surely "full" would mean that you also include Tidal Masters and MQA?
Excellent! May I inquire whether it'd be possible to have the ability to add our own genre tags to favourited Tidal albums, so we could sort them out the same way as the ones in our library, e.g. after tagging let's say with a "Progressive" tag all my favourite Tidal albums belonging to that genre, so when I search accordingly I'd be able to see them along the ones I have already tagged as "Progressive" in my internal hard disc library.
Looking forward to this
Can't wait to have better TIDAL integration.
Cant wait, Quobuz works well and looking forward to getting my Tidal into it as well. Your doing a great job Nuno, really pleased with the app so far, just the odd niggles which you are working on and the SQ is a bonus. So glad I invested into an Innuos streamer.
I find it very interesting, for all platforms ...
