Allow displaying Booklets available on the folder where the album tracks are stored. Booklets are available in PDF, TXT and RTF format - initially RTF will not display formatted text, this will be implemented in a future update.
Alternative album covers is a separate request:
feedback.innuos.com/b/feature-requests/display-additional-cover-images-for-albums/
Original User Request:
(Orange Squeeze used to have this feature): from the album folder view, show list of non-audio files and display them accordingly with a doubleclick on their name: these can be album booklets (PDF), other text files (TXT, RTF, DOCx, LOG), additional photos, URLs..... non-eligible files can be greyed out.

Wonderfull new feature! I can't wait for RTF.
Suggestion: can we have a "full screen" mode for pdf?
JK
Been checking through various releases I have liner notes for. Not all open (pdf) in the app, but do on a desktop. Some seem to duplicate and give an error, see attached photos. Album has 3 pdf in folder, but app shows 6 files, 3 of which show an error.
Is there a recommendation for the file names? Also should a rescan/reupload help?

Any clue as to how one night locate albums which have booklets? Where? Which screen? A screen shot would help.
J
I have same issue - I have an album with just 1 pdf in the folder - the app says there’s 2 and the 1st one gives an error screen just like the one you have posted here
JK
Just to show a pdf open on desktop, but not in app.
JK
I done a test and removed an album and reuploaded to my Innuous and the PDF shows 3 pages and no more duplicate pages with errors.

As a note, at this stage we will only include PDF and additional images existing on the same folder as the album. Later on we will add the option to upload PDFs/images via the UI.

Your choice is wise and I would exclude the further option of a "Windows explorer"-like function; when I need to add data files to the album folder, I use the Windows Explorer directly from the desktop - basta !
However, when it comes to opening and displaying text files, please do not restrict yourself to PDF, but include TXT and RTF - some album productions generate various logs which may need to be looked at while playing an album. most Android/iOS systems will do it seamlessly, so why wouldn't you do it from the Sense app ?
then there's the additional small topic of URL's: album folders may include URL's which point to additional album info, do you intend to show them and activate the links ? That would be a small but VERY useful enhancement ! Thank you !

For the moment we will support PDF and TXT. RTF files will be shown too but at this stage without formatting. Support for Links please do submit a separate feature request as this is something different. In fact, we will consider the additional photos as a separate request as well as the implementation is separate - these would be available when clicking on the album cover with the album. You can vote for the feature here: feedback.innuos.com/b/feature-requests/display-additional-cover-images-for-albums/

I will edit the original request in order to make the scope clearer ok?

I would like to store not only yhe front cover, but also the back cover. The reason: there are several CD editions, remasters, labels, etc

Yes, that would be a great feature! A must for classical music lovers.

This sounds really good to me, another stepping stone to a much better and more informed listening experience.

that was available before... indeed the pdf files were downloaded and opened externally by pdf viewer, but I miss to access to all pdf available on Qobuz and the once in my music library
