Force Merge of albums

Innuos:
I have a few releases that show up as separate albums. No matter how closely I scrutinize the metadata that I can edit there is no difference that I can discern and the albums show up as separate. (and the album songs are not a different format). I would like an option to “force merge” the releases to one album. Any suggestions are helpful.

We have now scheduled to be implemented in version 2.4 the ability to multi-select albums in the Album view and allowing 2 merge operations:
1. Set as Compilation - this will set the compilation flag on all the selected albums so they are seen as a single compilation
2. Set as Multiformat - this will set the Multiformat flag so that the same album with files in multiple formats will be seen as a single album.
