iPeng was awful but I did like the lockscreen controls, in reality it means 2 steps to control play, pause, skip as opposed to passing the lockscreen then into the app and usually a pause to refresh

The use of the phones volume keys is something that is on a separate vote here;
feedback.innuos.com/b/feature-requests/volume-buttons/

This does make sense also perhaps in the context of lockscreen controls.
However, i do not see much use for widgets once the phone/tablet is already unlocked as you could go straight into the Sense app itself at that point. A very quick shortcut from the lockscreen would indeed be more logical, so will merge into that thread.

OrangeSqueeze is years and years behind by the new Innuos App in every aspect, but before it shown "mini control" in the notification area, so I can skip, repeat, pause or even see track info (name, album, cover) without need to switch between app, while I was reading or working on my device. Is it possible to have something similar?

Please create a setting that allows the hard volume keys to control volume in Sense whenever it is playing a signal and another audio source is not playing locally on the Android device, and if a local source is played on the Android device revert to Sense volume control when that source stops. There also needs to be a control pane in the Android pulldown panel (status bar) with track info and buttons for play/pause/prev/next and rwd/fwd of a user settable number of seconds (say 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20 in the settings) whenever Sense is running in the background.

I agree a Widget would be very helpful. It then could also be used or even added as a separate app to Apple Watch. I use iPeng right now for this purpose. A really helpful thing to have volume and playback control on your wrist.

Could you get a front screen widget that allows you to pick up the phone and see what is playing and do basic controls without going in to the phone and app like you have with other streaming apps

any update? I think i could be great to have this function avilable for the SenseApp, in exaple as "Qobuz" or "Tidal" and other apps do this. You can "turn on" display without unlock and control. Or swipe down the screen when using a different app and play/pause/skip or only check the track/album name and cover

but the task: “Volume Control over the existing Buttons on the Iphone/Ipad“, is not shown anywhere in the Feedback Zone, maybe you can ad this, was trying this a few times now ;-)

Like in most music control apps, I would really appreciate if Sense had a control widget in the notifications bar, as well as a linkage of volume control to the hard keys if they're set in Android to control media volume. The hard key volume control should only subordinate temporarily when other audio is playing on the phone.

I'd suggest the info and controls in the notifications widget should consist of Track Title/Artist/Album, Track-Time:Total, a Play/Pause button bracketed by Track Prev/Next arrows, which are then bracketed by Time-Skip Fwd or Back circular arrows ringing a number of seconds which are user-adjustable in the app's settings menu-- say a choice of 2, 3, 5, 10, 15 seconds. The widget could have a little "expand" arrow which would enlarge or reduce the widget between one & two rows tall to allow space for the time-skip arrows when expanded while still showing the track info. Tapping on free space where the album image is would maximize the app. This is a pretty typical format for good reason.

Before noticing this post, I submitted a similar request, broadly (Android/iOS), with specific suggestions for layout, and mentioning the need to allow default slaving the volume to the hard keys when other media isn't playing on the phone. I'd appreciate if that was posted out of moderation either in this thread or elsewhere, as it's been a week or so.

even for android... like a control "window" in the notification area or in the lock screen, as Qobuz, Tidal and also OrangeSqueeze Apps have always done, to check the track name, little album cover, and play, back and forward control
