Is it possible to extend the number of song in a playlist from 500 to 1000, or even to 'unlimited'? This would make it easier to categorize singles that are not part of a complete album.
In the old version it was possible to load and play Qobuz playlists with 999 tracks. Now the limit is 500. The same for 'albums'
I have a lot of those longer playlists
We are now extending the architecture to support Playlists up to 10000 tracks, which is also the maximum size on TIDAL. Albums don't really have a limit but seems like an "artificial" way to solve a particular need. Even 10000 track on a playlist would seem more like a way to create a different library view rather than an actual playlist.
Hi, the option we are considering is to expand to 1000 tracks. The reason we want to limit is essentially to avoid using Playlist for something they were not designed for (ex: as views or filters to your Music Library). If our users can provide us with use cases where it makes sense to have bigger playlists, we will be happy to consider it.
I would be very interested by no limit tracks for my playlists. Volumio allows this ... and I think that Innuos could change this limit. It would be a great improvement.
I ripped all my compilation albums per genre. For the 70's that are over 2.000 tracks. Deleted the doubles.
I guess when the problem of the 'ghost' genres is solved, this is also 'solved'
Does it make sense to have an album with that many tracks? I assume this is a mukti-disc album correct? If it's a single album with this many tracks, it looks more like a playlist rather than an album?

Was creating a playlist and at a certain point I was informed my playlist was full. Would be great to not have a limit

That is ok for me and was also possible before the sense app.
I hope the problem with 'ghost' genres will be resolved soon.

Hello Nuno, Any idea when this will be possible?

Hi Menno,
