On Ipeng I was able to control my innuos zen and additionally add my two logitech squeezebox radios to effectively have a multiroom system. Will any consideration be given to add this functionality to innuOS?
For the past 3 years I have resisted upgrading my Zenith to InnuOS.2 for fear of losing my perfectly operational LMS multiroom control and command (3 Sq.BoxTouch+1 PiCorePlayer + 2 Sq.Radios - UI = Squeezelite-X + OrangeSqueeze + Ipeng). Can I expect progress (or an eye opener from Nuno) or will I have to mourn my Zenith the way I abandoned my Synology NAS after they dropped LMS altogether ?
I would love to be able to group multiple endpoints to play the same music. This feature is available in much less highend streamers (BluOS, Sonos), I feel like this should be a pretty high priority for you.
I still love the sound and the super easy Sense app from my Innuos ZenMini Mk3 S and 2 Pulse Mini... but it would be amazing if I could play my music in all the house at once...
Thanks!
Please add the ability to play the same music to different endoints as soon as possible. This would bring so much value to the Sense app and the Innuos community.
Thank you
I still find my Squeezebox Touch is very handy for displaying Now Playing info, and for browsing/navigating by IR remote, while not actually using it for audio output. I understand that Sense will see any Squeezebox player on the network. For whatever reason, the Touch sometimes gets selected as the default player during power-on, and I then need to manually select the ZENith player. Could Sense be made to ignore the Touch 'player', or would this also disable the other functions that I'm using?
While I know that tapping on the volume bar gives access to the available players on the network, I would like to be able to set a default player on the app, or having someway of the app distinguishing which player is in the nearest vicinity of the tablet or phone controlling the device. At the moment my app seems to default to my least used device which is a squeezebox radio in a bedroom
At the present moment we must press the volume icon to access the available players/endpoints.
It would be nice to have a dedicated button to access directly to the available players list.
The volume control should actually be close the the list of players as each player has its own volume. Perhaps more a matter of not having the volume icon there and use something more related to the device?
This will be the feature which finally takes me away from Roon. The (unjustified imho) recent price hikes for Roon + not being able to use Spotify Connect through Innuos hardware whilst in Roon mode are big calling cards for me to use Sense instead. It's taken some getting used to, but I really really like it.
However, using the LMS UPNP bridge plugin, whilst I can control other zones independently, I cannot group them to play the same source stream. This is something Roon can do which I use daily. I've 2 Zen Mini's and being able to both group the zones or have them independent is a basic requirement. I understand cross platforms is harder to group, but to not be able to group Innuos end points is a disaster for me.
I'd almost certainly hold off on getting a Pulse Mini as an additional endpoint whilst this isn't covered. At this price point, BluOS platforms such as the Bluesound Node/Powernode are more attractive for expanding my multiroom with their existing abilty to group.
PLEASE PLEASE get this feature up there so I can ditch Roon, live rent free in the brilliant Sense App and possibly expand using the new Pulse players.
Not more or less, the point is integrating the functions provided by LMS but in a much more intuitive way. LMS can be very confusing in the way it associates players and servers.
Ideally, we could just select the available players in the same dialog box as today, but without being limited to one at a time: select all that apply, a little bit like the interface of Airplay 2...
I would like to be able to synchronize my player(s) connected via UTP and my ZENmini Mk3's USB output.
If this is already possible, I apologize. I could not find a way to do it. A brief explanation or a referral would be appreciated.
The squeezebox radios should show on the player list - click on the volume control icon on the bottom-right and a window will pop up. What we haven't implemented yet is the ability to create zones by syncing players.
I notice that when opening the app that the default player is one of my squeezebox radios, rather than my innuos zen linked to my main system. Is there a way of changing the player the app initially connects too, as I am always having to change the setting using the volume control icon.
I've noticed this too... and often it reverts back even after I change, but not always. Have you raised as a feature i.e. to have a default player (it may actually be a bug - but suggest raise as a feature for triage)? If not... let me know and I'll raise.

A button to directly acess the list of available players.
The actual process of selecting volume control to reach the list of players is comberstone

Being able to send different players is goo, but to have to chose only one at a time is bad.

Hello There
Hello there. Has the function to change the led colour been removed from the new update. I don’t even remember seeing it before anyway.
Nuno Vitorino
You can already have multiple players and select each independently. What we plan to implement is the grouping to create zones.
JLT1947
How is this "zone" concept more effective than the "synchronized player" notion in LMS ?
Nuno Vitorino
Not more or less, the point is integrating the functions provided by LMS but in a much more intuitive way. LMS can be very confusing in the way it associates players and servers.

guardajoias
including maybe a local player?
Nuno Vitorino
Not sure what you mean? Do you mean a local player on the app itself so that the mobile device acts as a player?
guardajoias
Yes indeed... A local player would eliminate the need to keep iPeng to play locally...

Hi, I notice this has been addressed in the latest software release.
