I would dedicate a TV to Innuos if Innuos had that.

The topic of connecting a TV to the Innuos has come up a few times over the years, and suggested through different methods such as using the HDMI out, or making an app for Apple TV etc.
At the moment, the easiest solution is simply to utilise screen mirroring from your smart device which is quite easy to do through Airplay or Chromecast on Smart TVs these days.
We may consider an official solution to this feature, but I am fairly certain it will not be via HDMI - we need the HDMI specifically for diagnostic purposes in the servicing context. Also, a lot of noise would be injected into your HiFi if you did this, so we much prefer some kind of 'wireless' solution which is mechanically decoupled from the Innuos.

Thanks for considering it. Why don't you do it like Hifiberry OS where you simply go to HiFiBerry.local/#now-playing url? Another way would be to cast the screen with Chromecast, a feature that Roon has.

Indeed, if the TV has a browser then entering the IP address of the Innuos should give you the UI of Sense, so could be displayed that way also.
Yes, we would likely need to consider something along the lines of Chromecast for video.

A dedicated URL for the Now-playing screen would be better than the IP address of the Innuos. That way I could navigate my library from another device while the Now-playing screen remains on the TV

Do you see what I mean?

Yes i do see, that would make sense. Although it take a bit longer to do, you could still type in the IP address of the Innuos device, then maximise the Now Playing screen and leave it running there whilst you do the playback control separately from a phone or tablet etc, though i appreciate this takes a bit longer than a direct Now Playing URL like you suggest.
In either case, it is more likely we would go for a Chomecast type of option to display the UI, but this of course is entirely up for discussion and testing!

I would also opt for a streaming solution. If I am correct, AirPlay 2 is considered to be integrated into Sense. That potentially would allow to stream a video signal / webpage to a TV. However, it might also be an option to certify the existing iOS App / Android App for Apple TV / Android TV. This would have the advantage of then being able to use the TV as a head and remote for the server.

Hi Stephen and Team, let me add one thing as I just stumbled upon this interesting article.
One of the things I love most about Innuos Sense is that the Desktop version is a web app. Because, as Tim Berners-Lee writes here, it enables an open web, therefore I'm thinking that an URL for the Now-playing screen would be good:
"Other companies are also creating closed worlds. The tendency for magazines, for example, to produce smartphone “apps” rather than Web apps is disturbing, because that material is off the Web. You can’t bookmark it or e-mail a link to a page within it. You can’t tweet it." www.scientificamerican.com/article/long-live-the-web/
