Duplicated tracks on Music Library albums

We have seen some cases when files or folders are being directly edited via the shared folders on the server or when running a backup that tracks get duplicated entries in some albums. This is the result of a bug on the routines identifying changes to files on the filesystem. We have now identified the issue and on version 2.0.8, backup should no longer do this and a rescan will correct the duplicated tracks. A final fix will came later with 2.0.9 as it requires a change in our framework that will need further testing to ensure it doesn't cause other issues.

I have the same problem. I have a NAS connected to my Statement next-gen. I have many albums on my NAS that have duplicate songs on the album. When I trace the duplicated album back to the NAS it doesn't show duplicate songs but while viewing from my ipad it shows duplicate songs on the album. I've tried to rescan NAS and local storage but doesn't fix the problem.

(It also fixed the issue with the duplicated albums, in the albums view.)
