From 2.6.0 some Apple Lossless files will not play on the system. This will be fixed on version 2.6.2. In the meantime, you can apply the following workaround:
1. Access the Logitech Media Server on your system as per this article:
innuos.com/kb/access-the-internal-logitech-media-server-lms-software-settings/
2. Click on the "Advanced Tab"
3. On the dropdown at the top-left corner, choose "File Types"
4. On the "Apple Lossless" row, change "Native" to "Disabled"
5. Click the Apply button on the bottom-right corner.
After this you should have Apple Lossless playback again.
