Ripping some CDs will result in UI error in Assisted Mode or no progress in Automatic Mode

There's currently an issue with integration with metadata providers where album characters are not properly sanitized.
This causes an error on the UI when in Assisted mode and in automatic mode, the ripping does not show ripping progress.
The workaround for the moment is to use the automatic mode for ripping the CD and just waiting for the CD to eject (no progress will be shown). If there are changes required to the metadata, these can be done by editing the CD.
