Currently, innuOS will always include in the Music Library all albums/tracks purchased in Qobuz. This can cause some duplicates if the albums are also marked as Favorites or if they have been downloaded as well to local storage. This option would allow to disable the inclusion of purchased albums into the Music Library.

This is now part of version 2.3. Please note that due to Qobuz restrictions, tracks must be downloaded one by one, we can't download the whole album in one go.

Merged with: Album purchase from Qobuz in the Sense app

Integrate album purchase from Qobuz into the Sense app.

I agree with Jean Louis

I would prefer that you give priority to the cds on the hard disk rather than those for download on qobuz.
Nuno Vitorino
What you mean is that if you have an album stored locally but also favorited on Qobuz, you would not like to see the one from Qobuz on your Music Library?
Jean louis Stoffel
I don't have any favorites on qobus.
Despite this, I posted duplicates of all the cds I bought at qobuz (300).
in addition it shows me CDs that I have neither bought nor favorited

Is this matter now becoming a bit confused? The initial issue was that if you purchased albums from Quobuz and then stored them on the Zen, you would also see a duplicate copy of the album, because Sense will show purchases from Qobuz. I rip in WAV and try to make any purchases in WAV too so I end up with a WAV and a FLAC copy. I just delete the FLAC copies when I synchronise Sense to Qobuz. I only purchase from Qobuz when a CD isn’t available so this isn’t a huge problem for me at the moment, but I can see it would be for some. So Sense not showing Qobuz purchases would be good, preferably as a selectable option as I’m sure there are people who will disagree with me!
Jean louis Stoffel
I do not understand everything. I use a translator. I just noticed that my files purchased from qobuz are in AIFF and the files that qobuz installs for me are in FLAC. Is that why they are re-imported? you say to throw away the files that Sense imposes on me. I don't see how.
To sum up: for me, an option that would allow me not to display the purchases I made on qobuz would be perfect. But I want to listen to the files on my hard drive, not duplicate them in FLAC. I now understood that the statement was more made for streaming than for storing music, but if it was possible to do that that would be nice.
Andy Gilbert
Hi Jean, You can choose the format of your purchases from Qobuz, I think the default is FLAC, I choose WAV but AIFF is an option also. (Incidentally you can go back and download your purchases again and do this in a different format if you want) The extra files that occur when you synchronise to Qobuz can be removed by clicking on ‘Remove from Library’ but at the moment they will reappear every time you synchronise, which is what I’m hoping Innuos will fix, or make this optional (These files are not downloaded, they are just set up to stream) Hope this helps.

Wait and see. Merci

This is now being implemented and will be part of the next update 2.3.0

I left you a message that went in your direction i.e. deactivate the albums of my library. I thought about it and I would prefer to deactivate the albums of qobus. it would be nice to separate my library from qobus. roon's way of handling it is perfect.
Ponkbutler
Frankly, I wouldn't mind it if this was a selectable option. As it is, I find it quite convenient having everything displayed together, even if it does result in some duplicates.

unE option qui permettrait de désactiver l'inclusion des albums achetés dans la bibliothèque musicale serait parfaite
Jean louis Stoffel
I have more than 300 cds that I bought at qobus which are displayed twice. In addition, these duplicate CDs completely distort the statistics in the number of genres. As it is, the app is unusable for me.

Beyond Quobuz, I own Dark Side of the Moon as a standalone album and the same version in my folder for "Shine On" , the Pink Floyd box set. I also have two copies of Hotel California, one I ripped from my own old CD and another I bought digitally. Same format but I swear they sound different. All these cases are causing duplicate track issues.
I emailed support and they recommended deleting my extra copies which I'm certainly not going to do.
My suggestion is to use the Path folders to create "Versions" of each album. These could appear similarly to multi-disc albums but with Path information, bitrate, and individual covers shown. If a folder only has a partial tracks from the album, that's ok; just show what's available.
Nuno Vitorino
If you'd like to keep two albums with the same format on the Library, my suggestion would be to add something like [CD] on the title of the CD version in order to identify it as a different version. Our option has been to make these version more visible directly as well as this enables being used in filters. From contacting our users when designing this area, most preferred not to have a single cover and then multiple versions inside as they found it more confusing to find what they have. Anyway, it is indeed a matter of opinion and likely difficult to please everyone on this. Anyway, if you like you can create a feature request specifically for the case as this is unrelated with the purchased albums from Qobuz.
Nuno Vitorino
P.S. Just saw you created a separate Feature Request. Thanks!

Up voting this, but the issue seems to be not just with quobuz but any exact duplicate of an album, even if they are separated in folders physically on the disk.
Andy Gilbert
Yes, I’ve noticed this too, so every time I resync Quobuz to add new playlists I end up with purchased tracks appearing as duplicates. (I import purchased tracks as WAV files and do not have them set as favourites within the Quobuz app.) It’s a minor inconvenience at the moment but one that’s likely to grow.
Timberwolf
yes please implement this. I have a number of purchased albums from Qobuz. When I purchase them I fix the metadata and then load into my local library on the Zenmini and remove them from Qobuz favourites, so I would love an option to disable the inclusion of purchased albums into the Music Library.
Thanks, Ian
